Maiden Voyage Tour Introduction
This tour has been divided into two distinct parts.
- Part 1 is coverage of Caronia's Maiden Voyage at sea, gleaned from various news reports of the time.
- Part 2 provides text and pictures from the special folder produced in the USA to celebrate Caronia's Maiden Arrival.
The voyage folder, seen left, holds 16 loose-leaf sheets with a great deal of text and very few pictures.
Because of readability issues, it was not possible to produce facsimiles for the site, so I have used the text as the tour basis.
Most of the monochome pictures come from these sheets and, to break up the text, I have also added some so far unused images gathered from various other sources.
