10 March 1954
Crew Boxing
programme

On most of Caronia's major cruises, there were Boxing Tournaments staged for the passengers on Promenade Deck aft. This page is a transcript of one of those tournaments held on 10 March 1954. The Caronia was on her Japan & South Pacific Cruise steaming North from Sydney to Guadalcanal.

Caronia's Senior Officers would always be in attendance, with passengers often being invited to judge. This tournament consisted of 6 bouts, each of either 3 or 4 minute rounds.
