It is fitting, on the occasion of all the gaps in the day-to-day information of Caronia's position at last being filled, that I add this 500th Caronia Timeline page, and be proud to dedicate it to another avid collector.

It has been my thrill to acquire a huge collection of RMS Caronia Cruise Brochures put together by the late Maurice L. Gaillard. He was a life-long employee of Thos. Cook and lived in California. His collection is all the more complete because when a brochure came with a separate deck plan, a usual casualty, it's still present.

Like most collectors, it appears that his devotion to the ship was from afar, because although he worked for this key travel company, Maurice's name doesn't appear with the Cruise Staff in passenger lists. It's intended that all these brochures, even if they duplicate others already held, will be kept together in my archive.
