  • Total crew complement, including the Master, for the 28 October 1950 Voyage was 590 of which there were 385 in the Catering Department. Unlike early lists, the kitchen staff are no longer separately identified
  • For this voyage there was only a skeleton laundry staff employed
  • Greaser, Christopher Roach was left behind in a New York hospital suffering from appendicitis
